The teeth that hold the remotes is made of very flimsy plastic as is the base. Consequently, one cradle’s teeth broke within an hour of plugging them in. The broken section appears to still produce a charge. The remote seems to hold it. Did not come with instructions. Although the directions seem to be pretty straight-forward. The battery pack was easy to install. Easy to connect/ set up. Plug usb in to available port. It is nice to potentially have a rechargeable remote. I used these with my Wii remote Plus without any issues. To charge, you have to pull the wrist band forward, and slide under the bottom of the remote. Then place them in the cradle by approaching it from the back and sliding downward on to the teeth. It is red when you plug in, obviously must need charge. Turns blue when ready to use which it did rapidly. I mean within 15 minutes or less. I read from reviews that you should charge for 12 hours before using your remotes. So, I let them charge the allotted 12 hours. When used to play each remote held a charge for roughly two hours with all the bells and whistles of the Wii Remote Plus turned on. Not bad. I can live with that. Paid $14 for very flimsy plastic and two rechargeable batteries, one usb charging cable, and what is now a broken hobbled base. Lots of negatives that I can live with. Do I wish it were a better quality product? Yes. Would I have paid a bit more to ensure quality and lasting use? Yes.

I returned this product because when I opened it, it did not work. They e-mailed asking what the problem was, so of course, I e-mailed them back telling them it didn’t work. In return to that e-mail, they said

    “Dear Kayla White,

Thanks your quick response and detail explaination.
the trouble may come from the connection between the controller and the charger, also it is possible that the controller got problem. So we suggest that you’d better to test if the controller has problem before you reorder charger for it.

And we checked that your order 102-8394067-6013039 , was fully refund usd:$12.47,It typically takes 3 to 5 business days for the credit to appear on the your credit card statement. Please check it then.

We will be highly appreciated that you could remove this feedback for us. Thanks !”

So, it’s supposed to be just a coincedence that the charger did not work for 3 different Wii controllers? And then they tried to blame the problem on my controllers, saying that they were the problem rather than their product. I have ordered a different charging station, not from them, and it works great with all 3 of our controllers. But… What got me… They asked if I would remove my negative feedback. My response to them… No I will not.

Rechargeable battery packs have a pretty good life. The kids can use them half the day before having to switch out. They charge just fine, but I’m docking it a star because sometimes it can be difficult to figure out if the contacts are lined up properly for charging. You can set the controller on the cradle and the light color will go back and forth from red to blue when you shift it around. Don’t really know what each of the colors actually mean, but the controller seems to get charged up ok. Just gotta make sure it’s sitting securely, say a prayer, and hope all is well next time you want to play!
